A school for people who want to understand AI work, not just use it.

Brainframe offers structured programmes in AI engineering, technical writing, and mentored career transition — delivered at a pace that respects the time genuine learning takes.

Three programmes, each designed for a particular stage of learning.

Each programme has a defined audience, a clear set of learning expectations, and a structure that allows for careful, supervised practice over time.

Teaching that works at the pace real understanding requires.

Practice Before Theory

Each session is built around exercises drawn from real work settings. Concepts are introduced when there is a practical reason to reach for them.

Written Feedback

Every submission receives careful written feedback rather than a score. Feedback is specific, honest, and directed at the actual work in front of you.

Small Group Sizes

Programmes run with limited enrolment. Mentors work with a small number of learners at a time so the attention given to each learner's progress is real.

Tailored Reading Plans

Reading material is chosen for relevance to each learner's background and the specific exercises in the programme — not assembled from a standard list.

Sample Material Available

Sample lesson material, exercise examples, and reading excerpts can be requested before any enrolment commitment is made.

Defined Duration

Each programme runs for a fixed number of weeks. The workload is stated clearly at the outset so learners can plan honestly alongside existing commitments.

Not certain which programme fits your background?

Send us a brief note about where you are currently and what you are hoping to understand better. We will suggest the appropriate programme and can send sample material for review before any decision is made.

Questions about the programmes

Who are these programmes intended for?

Each programme is addressed to a specific audience. The AI Engineering Practice programme requires working programming experience and prior exposure to machine-learning concepts. The Technical Writing course suits learners already doing some applied AI work. The Mentored Transition programme is for those moving from an adjacent field — software development, data analysis, academic research — into applied AI work. All three are for adults who want to engage seriously with the material.

How much time is required each week?

The programmes are designed to be manageable alongside part-time commitments, though they do require steady weekly attention. Most learners spend between six and ten hours per week on exercises, reading, and review. The workload is stated clearly before enrolment so you can assess the fit honestly. We would rather have you start prepared than struggle with an underestimated schedule.

Can I see sample material before enrolling?

Yes. Sample lesson material, exercise examples, and reading excerpts are available on request for any of the three programmes. There is no commitment required to view these materials. Use the enquiry form below or contact us directly to request samples for the programme that interests you.

Are sessions conducted online or in person?

Mentor sessions are conducted online, which allows learners from across Malaysia to participate. Practical exercises and reading are completed independently between sessions. Learners based in Penang are welcome to arrange an in-person preliminary conversation at our George Town office before enrolling.

What happens if I fall behind during the programme?

The mentor check-in at the start of each week is partly for this reason. If you are finding the pace difficult, that is raised early and a practical adjustment is discussed — it might be a revised exercise, additional reading, or a brief extension of a particular stage. We would rather work through a difficulty honestly than have it compound.

What is the payment arrangement?

Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit. Payment arrangements — including whether an instalment option is available — are discussed during the preliminary conversation before enrolment. We encourage you to contact us directly for current payment details rather than assume any particular arrangement is available.
