Terms & Conditions

Last reviewed: March 2025

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Brainframe ("we", "us") and individuals who enquire about, apply for, or participate in any of our programmes ("you", "the learner"). By submitting an application or proceeding with enrolment, you indicate your acceptance of these terms. Please read them carefully and contact us with any questions before confirming your place.

1. Programmes and Eligibility

Brainframe offers the following programmes, each with defined entry requirements:

We assess eligibility based on the information you provide in your application. We reserve the right to decline an application where entry requirements are not met. If we have questions about your background, we will contact you before making a decision.

2. Application and Enrolment

An application does not constitute enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed only when we have accepted your application in writing and received payment in accordance with Section 4. We will communicate the outcome of your application to the email address you provide.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide in an application is accurate and complete. Providing misleading information may result in withdrawal of an offer or removal from a programme without entitlement to a refund of fees paid.

3. Programme Delivery

Programmes are delivered in accordance with the schedule and format described at the time of application. We aim to deliver sessions as planned, but we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to the schedule, format, or content where circumstances require. Where changes are material, we will give you reasonable advance notice.

Programmes are conducted in English. Learners are expected to be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a standard sufficient for the programme they are undertaking.

Participation in supervised exercises and the submission of assigned written work is a normal part of all programmes. The extent and nature of required submissions are described in the programme materials provided at the time of enrolment.

4. Fees and Payment

Programme fees are as stated at the time of application. Fees must be settled in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are due according to the payment schedule communicated at enrolment. We will issue a written confirmation upon receipt of each payment.

We accept payment by the methods described in your enrolment confirmation. We do not charge fees for standard payment methods. Where instalment arrangements are available, the terms will be set out in writing before you confirm your enrolment.

Fees quoted on this website are in Malaysian Ringgit and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply. Please contact us to confirm the current fee schedule before submitting an application.

5. Cancellations and Withdrawals

Cancellation by the Learner

If you wish to withdraw from a programme after enrolment is confirmed, please notify us in writing as soon as possible at [email protected].

Cancellation by Brainframe

In the event that we cancel a programme before it begins, we will refund all fees paid in full within fourteen days of the cancellation notice. We will not be liable for any additional costs or losses arising from such cancellation.

If a programme is discontinued after it has begun due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will discuss an appropriate arrangement with affected learners, which may include deferral, a partial refund, or access to an alternative programme of comparable scope.

6. Conduct and Participation

Learners are expected to engage with programme content honestly and to submit work that is their own. The use of AI-assisted writing tools to produce submitted assessments without disclosure is not acceptable practice and may result in removal from the programme. We will discuss standards for acceptable tool use as part of programme induction.

We expect all learners to engage with mentors, tutors, and fellow learners respectfully. Conduct that disrupts the learning environment or affects other participants may result in removal from the programme. In such cases, we will communicate our concerns to the learner in writing before any decision is made.

7. Intellectual Property

Programme materials provided to you — including reading lists, exercise sheets, written feedback, and session notes — are intended for your personal use in connection with the programme. You may not share, reproduce, or distribute these materials in any form without our written permission.

Work you produce during a programme remains your own. By enrolling, you grant Brainframe a limited right to use anonymised excerpts of your submitted work for the purpose of illustrating programme standards, unless you notify us in writing that you object to this use.

8. Limitation of Liability

We will provide our programmes with reasonable care and skill. We do not, however, accept responsibility for outcomes that depend on factors outside our control, including your own engagement with the programme, or conditions in the employment market.

Our liability to you in connection with any programme is limited to the fees you have paid for that programme. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication will be referred to the courts of Malaysia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you confirm your enrolment will apply to your participation in that programme. Material revisions will be noted on this page.
